How to create and manage employee employment contracts?

Updated over a month ago

What is the purpose of this feature?

This feature allows HR teams and management to create, manage, and store employment contracts and add-ons directly on the employee profiles in Furious.

You can:

Centralize contractual documentation: all contracts and add-ons are accessible on the employee's profile

Automate drafting: use templates with dynamic variables to save time

Track deadlines: generate events with notice reminders (especially useful for freelance contracts)

Digitize signatures: offer electronic signing via Signaturit

Make available to employees: each employee can view and download their own contracts from their profile

How to access it?

Step 1 — Create contract templates

Go to Furious Configuration > Team > Contract Templates

💡 Tip

The process is identical to creating client contract templates. If you are already familiar with creating templates for your sales contracts, you will find the same logic here.

In this section, you can:

• Create employment contract templates (permanent, temporary, freelance contract, etc.)

• Create add-on templates (salary changes, position modifications, changes in working hours, etc.)

• Use dynamic variables to automatically personalize each document

👉 Essential action

Test your templates with a real case before deploying them. Verify that all variables display correctly.

Step 2 — Create a contract or add-on on the employee profile

Once your templates are created, go to the profile of the concerned employee.

In the contracts tab:

• Click the button to create a new contract

• Select the desired template from those you have configured

• Preview the document automatically generated with the employee's information

• Modify or complete the content if necessary

• Save the contract

Step 3 — Configure events and reminders (optional)

For fixed-term contracts (temporary, freelance missions, etc.), you can:

• Define a contract end date

• Activate an event with a notice reminder

• Receive a notification before the deadline to anticipate renewal or end of collaboration

⚠️ Warning

Make sure to set the appropriate notice period for each contract type to receive alerts at the right time.

Step 4 — Sign the contract electronically (optional)

If you have activated the electronic signature module Signaturit:

• Click on the send icon (envelope)

• Check the box "Request electronic signature"

• Send the contract to the employee by email

The employee will receive a link to sign online. Once signed, the document will be automatically available on their profile, and you will receive a notification.

💡 Tip

Configure the electronic signature module beforehand to take advantage of this feature. See the article How to configure the electronic signature module?

Who can access or modify it?

⚠️ Warning

It is necessary to have full HR access to create or modify a contract on an employee's profile.

👉 Essential action

An employee cannot create or modify contracts on their profile. They can only consult and download their own contracts.

This restriction ensures that only authorized individuals (HR, management) manage contractual documents.
