When analyzing your business metrics, you may notice discrepancies between the amounts displayed in your widgets and those in your quote lists. These differences are normal and are due to distinct calculation logic between these two tools.

When filtering your data by Business Unit, the widgets and quote lists do not display the same amounts as they apply different logic.

Widgets like "Revenue signed by BU" or "Gross Margin signed by month and BU" calculate only the amounts distributed on the selected Business Unit.

Concrete example:

• Quote X converted into a project: €10,000 of Revenue

• Distribution: 60% BU A / 40% BU B
​

Result in widgets:

• Widget filtered on BU A → €6,000
​

• Widget filtered on BU B → €4,000
​

Quote lists display all quotes that contain at least one distribution on the selected BU, with the total amount of the quote.

Concrete example (same quote):

• Quote X: €10,000 of Revenue

• Distribution: 60% BU A / 40% BU B
​

Result in lists:

• List filtered on BU A → €10,000
​

• List filtered on BU B → €10,000

Widgets related to signed quotes (like "Revenue signed by BU" or "Gross Margin signed by month and BU") are based on the project creation date, while won quote lists are based on the date the quote changes to "Won" status.

In Furious, signed Revenue and Gross Margin are recorded at the time of project creation, which may occur on a different date from the quote changing to "Won".

• Quote created on January 15, 2025
