What is the purpose of this widget?
The key KPI widget focuses six fundamental financial indicators of your company into a single view. It allows you to instantly read the status of your business over a given period, without navigating between several modules.
In a few seconds, it helps you answer essential decision-making questions:
Does my signed project volume match my objectives?
What is my actual gross margin, after deducting costs?
Have I sufficiently invoiced and collected compared to what I've signed?
Is there a discrepancy between what I've produced and what I've invoiced?
Business objective: Provide management and back office with a synthetic view of the complete business cycle, from signing to collection.
The Indicators
Signed Revenue: Total amount of signed projects over the period, calculated from the project creation date. It reflects the effectively transformed commercial volume.
Signed Cost: Sum of all approved supplier purchases and expense reports, based on the purchase creation date. It allows you to track the external costs incurred on your projects. Unapproved purchases are not included in the signed cost. Remember to approve your purchases for a complete view of your actual costs.
Signed Gross Margin: Result of subtraction: Signed Revenue – Signed Cost. This is the gross margin indicator of your activity over the period.
Production: Gross Margin / Revenue: Valuation of the production actually carried out over the period, calculated based on the declared progress on projects. This indicator measures what has been effectively produced, regardless of what has been signed or invoiced. For more details, see Finance > Finance Dashboard > Production.
Invoiced Revenue: Total amount of invoices issued over the period, calculated from the invoice creation date. It reflects your level of invoicing and progress towards collection.
Paid Revenue: Total amount of invoices actually paid by your clients, based on the payment date. This is the real cash flow indicator of your activity.
How to use the filters?
Two levels of filtering are available on this widget:
Business Unit: the widget is automatically filtered by the Business Unit selected in the dashboard filters.
Project Typology: you can refine your analysis by selecting a specific type of project (time-based, fixed-price, etc.) to compare performance according to the nature of your projects.
